Having a Sister may make You a better Person

According to study, having a sister might be good for emotional health of kids. The results reveal that teenagers who had sister were less likely to experience negative feelings, for example guilt and loneliness.
According to Brigham Young University in Utah, “siblings give children that parents do not.”
395 families with at least two children, one of them was adolescent participated in this study. The researchers found that the adolescent having sisters avoid negative emotions. It does not matter whether the sister is older or younger.
Having a loving sibling increased good deeds, such as watching out for other children in school. The relation between sibling love and good deeds is as strong as that between good deeds and parenting.

“For parents of younger children, the message is to promote sibling love,” Padilla-Walker said. “Once they get to puberty, it is going to be a big protecting factor.” Majority of parents worry about fighting between siblings. According to study, the fights between siblings provides children to learn how to control their moods and feelings and this helpful in future.
