Porsche 918 Spyder hybrid supercar, soon will ready to sale
Porsche has announced to make few new hybrid supercars. It is called 918 Spyder.
This car is powered by both the electric motor and petrol engine and will be based on a prototype revealed at this year’s Geneva Car show.
It can go from 0 to 62 mph in 3.2 seconds. Top speed of this car is 198 mph. if the fuel of car end the car will run to 16 miles on battery.
The 918 Spyder will efficiently replace the company’s Carrera GT.
The prices of this car will more than £400000 and the most expensive company car.
The board of Porsche said that they put the 918 Spyder into manufacture if more than 1000 persons signed statements of interest to buy.
It has 4 driver modes including race and electric hybrid and the pair of electric motor will give a joint 218bhp with the 3.4-liter V8 engine giving the residual 500bhp.
It has the same length as the Cayman and Boxster but wider than both. It has only 1,500 kg weight.
The casing and body of 918 Spyder are made of carbon fibre reinforced plastic.
According to Porsche, the car completed a test lap in less than 7 minutes and thirty seconds in Germany.
